Ex-Trump Campaign Adviser Says Melania Could Pick Husband’s Running Mate:

A former adviser to Donald Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign said amid all the speculation about the former president’s 2024 VP pick, the selection may be determined by Melania Trump.

On Friday, CNN reported that the ex-president’s running mate shortlist is getting shorter, and that Sens. Marco Rubio (R-FL), J.D. Vance (R-OH), and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum (R) top the list.

Burgum unsuccessfully challenged Trump for the GOP nomination and once said he would not do business with the former president. However, like Vance and Rubio – who savagely criticized Trump in the past – Burgum has gone full MAGA.
