Green tomatoes

It took 20 days for the tomato flower to turn into an unripe green tomato. Some people eat green tomatoes. These tomatoes are canned. But we prefer to wait for the tomatoes to ripen in our garden. The tomatoes will ripen all summer. The last tomato harvest occurs in mid-autumn, when the first frosts begin. These vegetables support us in our rural life for almost six months.

In the case of tomatoes, the power of nature turned out to be greater than the power of human gardening. All the first tomatoes appeared on the sunny side of the garden bed. There are no tomatoes at the other end of the bed yet. The powerlessness of people impresses me :)
