PRIVATEER PRESS SELLS WARMACHINE | Is this the end of Privateer Press
MASSIVE NEWS! Privateer Press, after 25 years of developing their beloved and highly successful tabletop miniatures wargames, Warmachine and Hordes, as well as their Tabletop RPG, Iron Kingdoms, has sold almost their entire catalog to Steamforged Games, the UK based game developer and publisher that is likely best known for their failed, yet now rebooted, steampunk miniatures game Guild Ball. This acquisition not only includes the above mentioned titles but almost every single IP they have ever created. Is this the end of Privateer Press? Will Steamforged be able to save the waning legends, Warmachine and Iron Kingdoms? What will become of the plethora of newer and less developed privateer press games such as Riot Quest, Warcaster, and Company of Iron?
