I shot this the day I had my liver biopsy and port placement. One of the nurses asked what I wanted to listen to during the procedures. I told him I wanted to hear The Waste Lands by Venom because a I had a conversation with Ana earlier who said it was her favorite album. After that was over, I asked for Iron Maiden's Seventh Son of a Seventh Son album, but he just put on mixed songs from Maiden. Anyway, I sang every song that was played. During the end of the port placement procedure, the doctor performing the placement said she'd never seen anyone like me, singing all the way through both procedures and on top of that, singing every song word for word and note for note. Needless to say, I was happy to hear that. Singing is healing for me, and I've stopped caring who is listening. NOTE: I'm not singing full volume here (because there were other people recovering and I wa trying to be respectful) so I don't hit every note. haha But I ENJOYED myself, and that was key.
