The truth value of an idea, in terms of how closely it resembles reality, in no way positively correlates with its acceptance or adoption by hive minds or human collectives. The final arbiter and judge of ideas, is its emotional utility so far as the common level of thinking in a collective can understand and make use of. This is why debate is useless. In the end, the collective makes an arbitrary decision on what becomes the new religion, regardless of whatever might be true, or reality.
