Pentecost, Tongues, Israel

This is my second (recent) video on Pentecost. In the first video I focused on the meaning of the prophecies the Apostle Luke cites. The entire chapter is about the Gospel and its proclamation. This is often subsumed by discussions of tongues and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Now that I have discussed the prophecies, I can look at what tongues meant in the books of Luke and Acts. It casts it into a different light than is usually done now, because modern concerns are not the same ones we find in antiquity. The presence of tongues is a sign of a change in the invisible world, not simply a miracle.
