Sachs understands the history of the various players and has close communications with world leaders and other important people throughout the world. Therefore, he understands the realities on the ground & is not pushing some unrealistic propaganda agenda. It is clear that what has & is happening in Ukraine could have been resolved many years ago if the US & NATO had been willing to negotiate in good faith, instead of constantly moving NATO to the Russian border & focusing on defeating Russia. When the USSR collapsed in 1991 & Russia was trying to recover, all they wanted was to live in peace with the rest of the world. Russia even put forth proposals for cooperation which were repeatedly rejected by NATO & the US. The West needs to wake up & relearn how to negotiate in good faith.)
