‘Our families are broken’: Teen accused of triple murder in broad daylight pleads not guilty

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – An 18-year-old accused of a triple murder that rocked Portland’s Portsmouth neighborhood in March 2023 appeared in court Friday to plead not guilty to all 27 counts against him.

Omar Mohammed Osman has been indicted for gunning down two high school students and a 20-year-old in broad daylight in March 2023, according to court records. And though Osman just turned eighteen, he was already in custody in Marion County at the time of his indictment.
