‘It’s not ancient history’: A history lesson on Vietnam for a State Dept spokesman

US reporter Matt Lee attempted to clarify with State Department spokesman Matthew Miller how the White House thinks it can criticize Russia for its presence in Ukraine while everyone knows the history of Vietnam, except Miller.

Matthew Miller: Obviously we were involved in a conflict in Vietnam, ancient history.

Reporter Matt Lee: Well, it was not so ancient I was alive then.
