JoCo Library Board on "Freedom to Read", "Labeling" & More - OP, KS, 6-10-2023

The JoCo, KS Library Board discussed their policy of the freedom to read. Parents have been concerned about inappropriate books for minors in the libraries that contain sexual content that is essentially child pornography. The board insists they won't restrict any book from anyone, citing this policy as their defense. They also regularly put their collection through a diversity check.
