I don't know about any of you guys, but I've really been enjoying this study, and this particular chapter really stuck out at me, because we are seeing the climax as I would like to put it of several dysfunctional things here. Things that parents need to be looking out for in their families, said that they're not doing this to their children, and to their marriage. What am I talking about you guys ask? I'm talking about something that should just come out recently known as the golden child syndrome. It's all about how one child in the family is the favorite, and the other is the scapegoat, and trust me when I tell you it's a miserable thing to see. In this case, we have to “golden children”, in Isaac having Esau as his golden child, while Rebekah had Jacob as hers.
