Description
Organifer Algae Lime consists of 100% pure Lithothamnium Calcareum (red algae), a sustainable and natural product from the Atlantic Ocean. Unlike other brands, Organifer Algae Lime is undiluted and of the highest quality, resulting in a clear distinction in effectiveness. Although it is not the cheapest algae lime on the market, it is of the highest quality and 100% pure, resulting in healthy plants and fertile soil.

Organifer Algae Lime contains 100% pure Lithothamnium Calcareum and has a pH value of over 9.5 and a magnesium carbonate content of 20%. This unique purity and quality ensure an optimal nutrient profile. The fine nano-powder structure allows for optimal adhesion to the leaves when spraying or spreading and has a very rapid effect. It is a sustainable and plant-based natural product, made up of dead deposits of Lithothamnium Calcareum.

Lithothamnium Calcareum is a red-coloured algae that grows on banks in the Atlantic Ocean. This algae accumulates minerals from the sea in the cell walls of its leaf-like parts (thallus/thalli). The mineral-rich thalli eventually break off from the living algae and are deposited on the ocean floor. The dead deposits of Lithothamnium Calcareum have been carefully harvested from the ocean floor for centuries due to their high levels of available calcium, magnesium, and trace elements.

Source of Nutrient Elements
Organifer Algae Lime stimulates growth through calcium and magnesium, which the plant can absorb. Moreover, this fertiliser contains more than 70 trace elements, which prevent deficiency symptoms and provide grass and plants with these essential elements. The very fine honeycomb structure ensures that minerals are quickly and efficiently available to the plant. Nutrients also remain available at high soil pH. Organifer Algae Lime carefully and naturally provides your plants and soil with nutrients, without harsh chemicals. It’s no wonder that this algae lime is also permitted in organic farming.

Soil Improver and Soil pH Increaser
In the soil, the algae lime powder regulates the pH value and contributes to improving the soil condition. With an acid-binding value of 53.7% and a large reactive honeycomb surface, Organifer Algae Lime is the best pH soil restorer on the market. Combined with the unique mix of trace elements, it creates fertile soil.

Ornamental Horticulture
Organifer Algae Lime is a pure lime frequently used in ornamental horticulture for lime-loving plants to improve the natural resistance and recovery of, for example, boxwood plants. Professional gardeners are very enthusiastic about the unique action of Organifer Algae Lime. The powder is very fine and can be sprayed or spread. It has a large active surface and is highly effective in drying out harmful insects such as caterpillars due to the water-binding properties of the lime. The rapidly soluble algae lime prevents deficiencies, enhances the resistance of the plants. Organifer Algae Lime is also highly effective against fungi. It is ideal to use from February to October. Use the powder 2-3 times a year for prevention, and spread it directly on moist leaves of the boxwood. Organifer Algae Lime adheres very well to the leaves and is best used in a quantity of about 20 g per m². After rinsing the leaves, the soil will improve, and the lime-loving plants will absorb the nutrients, strengthening the plant from within.

Lawns/Sports Fields/Golf Courses/Parks
Organifer Algae Lime is highly suitable for lawns, sports fields, golf courses, and parks, ensuring the correct pH value and nutrients. This results in beautiful dark green turf without moss and weeds. Organifer Algae Lime is of the highest quality and contains more than 70 trace elements, making it the perfect solution for sports fields, golf courses, and parks. This fertiliser is a source of easily absorbable calcium and magnesium, optimising pH and better nutrient absorption. The grass becomes strong and dark green, and the effect is quickly visible thanks to the powder form, which falls beautifully between the grass and dissolves quickly with rainfall.

Product Analysis
This product is of very high quality and is made from 100% pure Lithothamnium Calcareum, an algae-based calcium supplement. The acid-binding value (also known as the neutralising value) of Organifer Algae Lime is 53.7%. This algae lime powder is the finest on the market and consists of 90% particles smaller than 150 μm, making it suitable for use in powder sprayers.

Instructions for Use
Apply Organifer Algae Lime evenly to the root area of plants or surfaces that need care, depending on the acidity of the soil and the needs of the plant. The best application period is from February to November, and it can be used in all weather conditions without risking burning. Organifer Algae Lime and fertilisers can be combined, but it is recommended to apply them separately. Apply lime first and then fertilise. When applying lime and fertiliser simultaneously, part of the nitrogen evaporates. To use algae lime on Buxus, apply it to wet leaves so that it adheres well and forms a barrier against boxwood moth and fungi.
