Le Pen’s National Rally seen leading vote in French snap elections

Three polls indicate Marine Le Pen’s far-right National Rally (RN) is leading the race ahead of France’s parliamentary elections, surpassing the leftwing Popular Front and President Emmanuel Macron’s centrists.

According to an IFOP survey, RN would secure 34% of the vote, with the Popular Front at 29% and Macron’s bloc at 22%.

A Harris Interactive poll places RN at 33%, the left at 26%, and Macron’s camp at 21%.

An OpinionWay poll shows RN leading with 35%, followed by the Popular Front at 27% and Macron’s camp at 20%, Reuters reported.
