The Romish Lady - Hymn

A heartfelt tale of a girl brought up in the Roman catholic church, who, after a bible is smuggled to her, realizes that Roman catholicism is nothing but an idolatrous, tyrannical religion. She pleads with her mother, to let her worship God as she sees fit, but her mother turns her in to the catholic authorities. After her faith remains strong through the tortures of a dungeon, she is condemned to burn at the stake. This is a sad reminder of the fate of many of our spiritual grandparents.
