The full meeting of the Fairfield County Commissioners' weekly meeting for June 18, 2024.

The first scheduled agenda item was a Listen & Learn with Jeannie Philips-Ball of Freedom's Never Free. http://www.freedomsneverfree.com/

Next, there was a discussion of stop loss pool within the County's health benefits with Deputy County Administrator, Jeff Porter, Kate Hubben and Jim Dustin of NFP. https://www.nfp.com/ The stop loss discussion led into Jeff Porter also reviewing personnel policy.

Public Comments began at 1:04:00 and ran through 1:09:13 with Lancaster resident Ray Stemen offering prayers for all those in County government. Then a group from Citizens for Fair Fields came to the dais with Melissa Hoover-Conner of Walnut Township speaking for the group and asking for the Commissioners for a resolution specifically prohibiting what is known as the Eastern Cottontail Project citing provisions within Ohio Senate Bill 52. The remainder of the meeting were items related to the regular Legal Update and County Administrative Update(s) and the commission's "voting pattern".
