Vilma Destroys Japan - by hacking a Japanese cat feeder!

Lusmo pet feeder is a stylish choice for a food dispenser. It looks great, works good and is rather easy to use - and it's very much Japanese. It served Vilma for multiple years and Jade cat also used it for some time. It still works fine, so it's fair to say that it's a durable product.

Alas, we had to get rid of the device after Vilma learned to hack it. She could basically eat as much as she wanted from the thing :D

it's important to mention that Lusmo is aware of this hacking method, which is why the product usually comes with an anti-hacking add-on. However, we never got it. And while we did produce different inventions that stopped the theft, we would sometimes forget to add them during different maintenance situations. This led to Vilma stealing food in the middle of the night. She just became better at stealing food so we decided to switch.

General review of the Lusmo cat feeder:
It's a solid 3/5 cat food dispenser. Pretty much all you want from a cat food dispenser. Few points are deducted for three reasons:
- I don't like the 4x A battery system. The price of batteries stacks up over the years
- The compartment for the electronics is rather hard to clean because of the wiring
- The size of the feeding wheel could be even smaller. This is probably because even dogs can use Lusmo
No Points were deducted because of the hacking :)
