Just Stop Oil tried painting Taylor Swift’s jet orange... but got the wrong plane

Just Stop Oil have shown exactly why they deface priceless works of art and culture, and not oil-guzzling celebrities, after spectacularly failing to target an oil-guzzling celebrity. Taylor Swift is in London for the latest leg of her Eras tour, and that means so is her private jet. Just Stop Oil, who can’t be bothered to protest anywhere too far away from southeast England, leapt at the opportunity to deface Taylor Swift’s infamous private jet with their signature orange slop, but it turns out their quick Google search was not enough to get the moronic job done.

The intrepid duo used data from Flightradar24 to track Swift’s jet to London’s Stansted Airport, however, after the two used an angle grinder to break through the security fence, they were faced with finding exactly where it was parked. Since doing that would have been too much effort, they simply found the nearest private jet and painted that instead. They posed for selfies, looked smugly at each other, but as everyone knows, breaking into an airport gets you an instant five-star wanted rating, and so the two were immediately arrested. It was only then, after their nonsense had already been posted to social media, that Stansted Airport did the mic drop – Taylor Swift’s plane wasn’t even there
