Cook with Cylia 12 - Beef pie

ingredients :

- 20 g dried yellow boletus mushrooms
- 100 g cottage cheese
- 0.5 clove of garlic
- Cumin
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 round shortcrust pastry (230 g)
- 250 g ground Charolais beef steaks (2 x 125 g, 15% fat)

Preparation

1. The Boletus Mushrooms (Next step if u don't have)
- Tip: To prevent your pastry from warming up, take it out at the last moment!
- Place the boletus mushrooms in a bowl filled with warm water.
- Let them rehydrate for about 45 minutes.
- Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 220°C (fan-assisted) and prepare the filling.

2. The Ground Beef
- Slice the onion, chop the garlic
- In a sauté pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat
- Sauté the onion, garlic and cumin 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, add the crumbled ground beef steaks, (mustard if u like) and garlic, and cook for another 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Once the boletus mushrooms are rehydrated, cut them into pieces and add them to the sauté pan. Mix well and cook for about 5 more minutes.
- At the end of cooking, off the heat, add the cottage cheese and mix well.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.

3. The Pie
- On a baking sheet, unroll the shortcrust pastry.
- Place the filling in the center of the pastry and fold the edges over the top.
- Suggestion: Before adding the filling, feel free to brush the pastry with a drizzle of olive oil to waterproof it.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the pie is cooked and golden brown (lift gently to check).

4. Enjoy
- Enjoy your forest pie with beef and boletus mushrooms accompanied by the salad immediately
