Relentless, starring Robert Young and Marguerite Chapman, is a 1948 American Western film directed by George Sherman. The movie is based on the story “Three Were Thoroughbreds” by Kenneth Perkins, originally published in the June 1938 issue of Blue Book and later as a hardcover novel in 1939.

The film follows Nick Buckley (Robert Young), a drifter who is wrongly accused of murdering two old prospectors, Len Briggs and Bob Pliny. Nick flees with the help of Luella Purdy (Marguerite Chapman), the owner of a traveling general store, as he tries to clear his name and find the real killer.

The movie was shot on location in the Tucson area and features beautiful Technicolor cinematography by Edward Cronjager. The film’s score was composed by Marlin Skile
