Police entered a man's home after a 911 call because they were concerned about his well-being. They are now charging him with multiple counts of attempted murder.

32-year-old Jonathon Gounaris was alone in his home, and his mother called 911. Police stated in the debriefing video that they received reports of him having "suicidal and homicidal ideations."

-911 call came in at 8:40

-Deputies arrived at 9:05

-The emergency response team arrived at 10:20, deployed a throw phone, and called "over 50 times."

-Hostage negotiator at 10:40

-Authorization to enter at 11:51 after there was no response from Gounaris.

-Around noon, officers entered the home by breaking the door down, as seen in the video.

In the exchange of gunfire, 3 officers and Gounaris were shot.

Gounaris faces: 4 counts of attempted first-degree murder, 3 counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm, and 3 counts of aggravated battery, amongst other things.

They didn't release any footage of the events prior to this entry video, but they reported he was inside alone.
