Musical arragements owned by the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and Golden Eagles Marching Band which are new derivate musical compositions of many famous Indian marches where permission was obtained to film and record the event by the Tattoo marketing team.

I recorded this video after contacting the Tattoo marketing team seeking permission to film and record their live free event called Taste of the Tattoo which was a hugely popular feature while the main Tattoo event took place at the Edinburgh Castle within the Scottish capital. The video was one of the last I filmed and recorded using a Hi8 camcorder I was gifted by a member of the Edinburgh Cine and Video Society who I had been a member of for many years while living in Edinburgh.

The Golden Eagles Marching Band visits Edinburgh for the second time, one of America's premier showbiz razzmatazz bands from the South East Missouri State University.

The band celebrates over 60 years of musical excellence, this 150 strong band has thrilled audiences throughout the United States with their irresistible mix of music, contemporary marching and percussion. The band has established itself as an audience favourite at top US events such as the NFL Super Bowl and was a hit at the Tattoo back in 1999.

The Golden Eagles Marching Band is one of six bands within the Department of Music at South East Missouri State University. This years band is one of the most televised marching bands in the United States, this talented group of musicians and dancers are under the direction of Professor Barry W Bernhardt, assisted by Dr Robert Conger and Dr Shane Mizicko.
