Kansas Attorney General Sues Pfizer For Making Misleading & Deceptive Claims About Covid-19 Vaccines

Kansas Attorney General – Kris Kobach has filed a lawsuit against Pfizer, alleging that the pharmaceutical company made misleading and deceptive claims about its COVID-19 vaccine.

The lawsuit claims that Pfizer concealed evidence of safety concerns, including risks to pregnant women and individuals with heart conditions, and made false claims about the vaccine's effectiveness against variants and its ability to stop transmission.

“Pfizer said its COVID-19 vaccine was safe even though it knew its COVID-19 vaccine was connected to serious adverse events, including myocarditis and pericarditis, failed pregnancies, and deaths.”

According to the lawsuit, Pfizer made multiple misleading statements to deceive the public about its vaccine, including:

1. Concealing evidence of safety concerns: Pfizer allegedly concealed evidence of safety concerns, including risks to pregnant women and individuals with heart conditions, and made false claims about the vaccine's safety.

2. False claims about effectiveness: Pfizer allegedly made false claims about the vaccine's effectiveness against variants and its ability to stop transmission.

3. Misleading marketing: Pfizer allegedly made misleading claims about the vaccine's benefits and risks, including claims that it was "safe and effective" and that it would "protect against COVID-19 and its variants."

The lawsuit seeks civil monetary penalties, damages, and injunctive relief from Pfizer's misleading and deceptive statements made in marketing its COVID-19 vaccine. Kobach also alleges that Pfizer violated consent judgments it previously entered into with Kansas and other states to settle separate allegations.

Kobach has stated that he believes Pfizer's actions were "unacceptable" and that the company's claims about its vaccine were "misleading and deceptive." He also stated that he is seeking to hold Pfizer accountable for its actions and to protect the public from further harm.

Kobach has stated that he expects five other states to join the lawsuit. The case is filed in Thomas County, Kansas, and Kobach has stated that he chose to file the lawsuit in that county because of its lighter workload, allowing his office to devote the necessary resources to the case.

Now we will see if the court accepts the venue and has valid jurisdiction. This could turn into a circus show or no show at all.

BUT, this is as start to let these criminals know that we KNOW what they did and we will hold them accountable for their criminal activities.
