12, 24 & 48 volts are what you'll hear and see when looking at an off grid power set up. Here is a real life demo on how much power it takes to run ONE fan using 12 volts. I skipped doing the numbers for 24 volts because it's obvious that the amperage draw will be midway between 12 & 48.
48 is the way to go!
