Pet of the week: 2-year-old Cocoa is a cool canine with a heart of gold

ABC Action News works with local shelters to help find homes for dogs every Friday morning our Pet of the Week segment. This week you have an opportunity to add a little sweetness and warmth to your life with Cocoa.  We are featuring Cocoa this week. She is a 2-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart of gold. According to the American Kennel Club, terriers are intelligent, good-natured dogs who are excellent guardians. Shelter workers say Cocoa is a beautiful dog with great leash manners. Thanks to the Pit Project and her Guardian Angel sponsor, Darlene Tennell, Cocoa's adoption fee is only $75. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. You must own your own home to adopt him.
