Bowleven Oil & Gas, Anglo American plc, Acacia Mining Plc, Shell Plc, Gem Diamonds Limited, Genel Energy, Avocet Mining, Capricorn Energy Plc, these are just a fraction of over a hundred British companies, operating in over 35 African countries, and control trillions of dollar worth of African resources. These companies, are listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), and, one-quarter of them are incorporated in tax havens. This means, they either pay an insignificant low amount as tax, or they don't even pay tax at all. The plundering of African resources by the British, continued after colonization through these companies, and, of course, with the full support of the British government.
