China slams US for engaging with Dalai Lama

China has criticized the US over a meeting with the Dalai Lama, whom Beijing considers a separatist politician. Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi is leading an official US delegation for talks with the spiritual leader planned for today. The Chinese foreign ministry called on Washington to reconsider the move.
