This is the Reason Furiosa FAILED and Inside Out 2 WON the Box Office

Furiosa will be the final Mad Max film for a very long time. Even with a generous helping hand from the Australian Government, this film lost a tremendous amount of money, cost a lot of money, and is set to hit streaming in the coming days. Mad Max is a Mel Gibson vehicle, plain and simple.

Disney struck gold with Inside Out 2. The biggest opening of the year at the Box Office came as a shock as it blew past it's projections. Did the public suddenly forgive the House of Mouse? Or did the "back to basics" marketing work?

When you make movies for your target audience, you win; it's that simple. Give up on trying to fit that square peg into a round hole. If Hollywood would learn anything from Super Mario Bros. and Barbie, it's to know your audience. But instead it's likely they will walk away from this thinking the cure to the Hollywood slump is MORE SEQUELS!!!
