The Garden City Democrat wants that to be the minimum wage by 2030 in Michigan. He says the minimum wage is not keeping up with inflation and is far too low for people to be able to live off of it. The minimum wage currently in Michigan is ten-dollars-33-cents an hour and the federal minimum wage is at seven-dollars-25-cents.
