Dr Frank, I am curious as to why you are presenting the graphs in terms of absolute population numbers rather than proportion of county registered population (binned by age) to proportion who cast votes. Such a curve as the latter would show more clearly how the age-binned profiles are IDENTICAL in each intra-state county (would allow the EYE to see the high correlation coefficient plain as day) - and is a different identical profile in another state. The absolute population curve makes the graph LOOK different in each county - even though the PROPORTION PROFILE is identical.

  As far as I can tell, Dr. Frank does not answer critical questions, nor does he clearly show from start to finish how he gets his numbers. I think the high correlations are simply caused by his method... but I don't know for sure... because he won't disclose his data.
