It will be almost five times the size of the lodge that was torn down as part of the project and will have a gym, classrooms, a fitness room, and offices. A new pool and a new playground will also be added. The project will cost 19-point-seven-million dollars and is being paid for by the city's capital fund, American Rescue Plan Act money, a Michigan Economic Development Corporation Grant, and the city's 3rd Ward equity fund.
