Wisdom for and to the Fathers

Text: Proverbs 23:22-25

Objective: that the brethren know how appreciate the fathers

Intro:
Define – father, man

Points to Learn about the father:
1. The Father as the Primary Law giver and teacher in the home
a. Take charge
b. Be responsible
c. Learn and teach well, enforce
2. The Father as Giver of Tough Love
a. Be Loving – make it show
3. The Sufferings of a Father
a. Endure it
b. Overcome and surpass it
4. The Protection for the Father
a. Trust the Lord and continue the good work and labor
b. Take heed, be warned and help realize
c. Extra protection
i. Stablished standard of life will guide the children – define Landmark
ii. Stablished connections likewise – people that will extend yourself for your children – “friends”
5. The Joy and Happiness of the Father
a. Enjoy it
b. Give, perform and Be it.
