House of the Dragon Renewed for Third Season Before Season Two Premiere

Ahead of the premiere of its second season, HBO has announced that House of the Dragon will for at least one more season. George R. R. Martin, himself, has said that he foresees the series going for at least four or five seasons to truly do his story justice.

House of the Dragon starts Emma D'Arcy as Rhaenyra Targaryen, Matt Smith as Daemon Targaryen and Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower. Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, and more are also set to reprise their roles from the first season.

The second season premiered Sunday, June 16th on MAX.
