The Russian military is currently testing heavy-duty transport drones designed for deployment in the Ukraine conflict.

The Russian Defense Ministry has released footage demonstrating the drone's capability to lift an armed soldier using a wire.

Named 'Perun', this large quadcopter aircraft reportedly has a payload capacity of up to 200 kg and is promoted as a cost-effective frontline logistics solution.

The released video showcases two versions of the drone, with one featuring coaxial rotors capable of lifting an armed individual on a wire. Named after the Slavic god of thunder, 'Perun' is said to bear similarities to Kyiv's Baba Yaga drones.
