XR650R Full Dual Sport Conversion

This is the long format video of my 2007 Honda XR650R transforming to a street legal dual sport. If you like hanging out in the garage working on stuff, this may interest you. Anything I do to this bike will be basically the same for most dirtbikes so you can do it yourself if you like. I did not buy a kit, I pieced all my own stuff together the way I wanted it.

As usual, I post videos if I don't find what I'm looking for and feel I can be helpful to others. When I was looking to dual sport my bike, any videos out there just didn't quite show the parts I needed to see to be confident in tackling this project. With a lot of research, I was able to put it together in a way that makes sense (at least to me).

I may update the description to include my parts list.

UPDATE: Here is the list of everything I used from Amazon. It does not include the speedometer that I got from Ebay, you can use any Honda speedometer from any bike with a 21" front tire, many people get a smaller one from a 250. It also doesn't have my normal crimping tool I've had for 20 years but I did buy a bullet connector crimping tool. Also, the headlight assembly I've had for a very long time also.
