When You Ask It Is Given | Personal Growth Through Mindset Shifts

I used to think the universe was ignoring my pleas for help, but I've come to realize I was the one ignoring all the answers being given! I was behaving as if I had no choices in my experience when the opposite has always been true. Even your perspective is a choice.

A friend of mine says "what you permit, you promote". This means when you willingly participate and go along with something, it is an indication that you agree with it. In learning to trust my intuition and follow my inner guidance, I've naturally fallen out of alignment and practice of many things that I did not agree with.

This is your life, and you have choices at every turn. Most often the biggest choice is whether you will do what satisfies your soul or if you will do what satisfies your neighbor. In our desires to blend in and not "rock the boat" we risk drowning in our own choppy seas of dissatisfaction, unfulfillment, and unhappiness.
