MZTV 1497: These Rock-Hurling Moses Types Always Focus on Sin and Never Salvation

Our Lord and Savior took all our sins to the tomb with Him and rose without them. We are now to rely on Him and glory in the accomplishments of the cross and the power of His resurrection.

Why is it, then, that some people can’t enjoy the vindication from sin and the justification from sin that Christ accomplished? Instead, they return to the tomb and sniff where Sin used to be. They are more obsessed with the sin Christ delivered us from than with the deliverance itself. They would rather talk about the First Adam than the Last.

My message to these people is: Maybe you and the Old Humanity should get a room. Maybe you should go to Jerusalem, find the tomb of Christ, get on your hands and knees, and sniff where your old self used to lie. Then write a story about it, or make a video telling us how awful it is. How bad it smells.

As for us, we’re dancing at the right hand of God, justified. We try to send YOU postcards, but you never read them.
