A Call for Global Compassion and Unity: Transforming the True Meaning of Eid

In this heartfelt message, I address Saudi Arabia, Dubai, the entire Islamic community, and the world. Today, as we observe the traditions of Eid, I urge us to reflect on the true meaning of this day. It’s a day meant for compassion, love, and forgiveness, not violence and slaughter. I call upon Saudi Arabia to lead by positive example and replace the sword on their flag with a heart, symbolizing the values of life and unity.

I ask the world to embrace these values by releasing prisoners, showing genuine sorrow, and fostering compassion and love. Let’s remember that during Hajj at Al-Kaaba, we dress in white, united without discrimination. Outside Al-Kaaba, we must carry forward this spirit of equality and humanity, not be swayed by wealth or status. Let us transform this day into a true celebration of compassion and unity for all.
