1999 - Ken Owen Contribution to WGRE 50th Anniversary

DePauw University's radio station asked alumni to contribute old recordings as it prepared for it's fiftieth anniversary celebration in 1999. Owen, a 1982 graduate of DePauw, was working as a news anchor/reporter at WRTV at the time. On a compact disc, he sent in clips from his final WGRE morning show (he was station manager at the time) -- including his 'KO Corral' segment -- as well as sound of U.S. Senator Dan Quayle's commencement address in the spring of 1982 and a clip of the commencement ceremony itself, which was broadcast on WGRE.
