Frost Was Found On The Slope Of Equatorial Mountains On Mars

🔸According to satellite data, an international group of scientists discovered frost forming on the tops of the highest volcanic mountains in the Solar System on Mars.

🔸Scientists were surprised that it shouldn’t be there at all.
The extremely thin air contains almost no water, and it was thought that sunlight kept the temperature too high for frost to form.

🔸The frost is estimated to weigh at least 150,000 tons, which is enough to fill 60 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
