Gospel of Luke #8 - First-born of all creation (6-16-2024)

Exposition of the Gospel of Luke - Chapter 2 vs 21-35
Joseph, the legal father of Jesus, brought Jesus to the Temple after the 7+ 33 days of purification of Mary were complete to paid the five shekels of silver required by the Law, for the redemption and dedication of the firstborn sons of Israel. This was establishing the Law of redemption through the firstborn son.
Jesus Christ is the First-born from the dead, thus paying the price in full to redeem us from the curse of the law, making the way for us to be born-again.
Therefore Jesus demands our complete devotion to Him first and foremost over everything and everyone else in this life.
