Island Of Lost Souls (1932)

Directed by Erle C. Kenton, based on H.G. Wells' novel "The Island of Dr. Moreau." The film stars Charles Laughton as the sinister Dr. Moreau, a scientist who performs grotesque experiments on animals, transforming them into human-animal hybrids on his secluded island.
