Tesla AutoPilot Crash Into Police Car

In the early hours of June 13, 2024, a Fullerton Police Officer narrowly avoided a potentially catastrophic collision while managing traffic at the intersection of W. Orangethorpe Ave and Courtney Ave. The officer was on duty following a deadly traffic accident earlier that evening. His police vehicle was stationed with emergency lights on, and flares were placed on the road to warn approaching drivers when a blue Tesla crashed into the police vehicle.
