French left-wing leaders join anti-far-right protest in Paris

Leaders of the French left-wing alliance, the 'Popular Front', joined protesters in Paris on Saturday (June 15) – where scuffles broke out between demonstrators and police – as they marched against the far-right National Rally (RN). "We are here, we are here because we will never entertain the idea that these people will seize power in a country like France, " said French Communist Party leader Ian Brossat.
