Veken Pet Drinking Fountain Used For Hummingbird Bath Almost. Fake Birds, Hot Glue & Pond Update

I got this thing as I live so far out that I thought the hummingbirds would like a cool dip in some fresh water but nothing so far. It has been a week. I tried a wall, fake birds to draw them in but nothing yet. I'll get a plant tomorrow to give them a reason to check it out more closely. I also put hot glue around the edge of the tulip thing to give them a place to grab onto. I pulled the inner part of the tulip out and figured the sharp edges of the clips might be a problem, if they ever bath there, so I busted those out and softened the edges with more hot glue. I have at lease 3 hummers here but not one has noticed the water sound or anything. We'll keep trying. I almost have the pond where I want it but not quiet. Will need some rocks for sure.
