VFW Post 6878 Flag Day Flag Retirement Event

VFW Post 6878 held their 2024 Annual Flag Day Flag Retirement Event at their Post in Proctorville, Ohio.
Boy Scouts of Troop 38 out of Proctorville and the Rome Guys & Gals 4H Club all participated in the burning of the American flags that had served their duties, were ready for retirement and had been replaced. It was a warm and beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and willing young Americans to start the ceremony with a prayer and the pledge of allegiance.
