Although this episode of Walt's TV show was produced a year after he was gone, it features a segment of Walt looking over the models of Pirates of the Caribbean with the first Disneyland Ambassador Julie Reihm. Disneyland Ambassador was a position created for someone to attend functions and events in Walt's place when he was unable to get away from the studio and other obligations.

The show is hosted by current Disneyland Ambassador Marcia Miner since Walt has passed away and couldn't be there to host the show himself. The episode covers the opening of Pirates of the Caribbean and the expansion of New Tomorrowland. Some of the footage was reused from earlier episodes of Walt's TV show. This was the introduction of these attractions to most Americans.

This was the final episode focusing on Disneyland until Disneyland Showtime a few years later, which covered the opening of Walt Disney's Haunted Mansion.
