Dinner, join us friends

Today for dinner we have meat pies and coffee. This happened in the morning too :) I laugh. I don’t want to leave the garden and go to the city for shopping. Gardening and journalism are addictive. I want to ignore everyday problems. But...I need to shop.

Our new potatoes have fallen in price and cost only 70 cents for 2.2 pounds. It is not expensive. A month ago, new potatoes cost 2 times more! Cucumbers are now $1.20 for 2.2 pounds. Tomatoes $1.4 for 2.2 lbs. All this is not from local gardens. This is brought by people who garden in the south. We live a rural life. But at the beginning of summer we buy vegetables and fruits from those people who live south of us. The harvest is earlier there.

Let's buy it all. And... let's change the menu. Who thinks what?
