I've been saying it for years! As a kid, growing up in the seventies and eighties, I didn't have any friends with a single allergy, not to mention multiple ones. No-one had celiac. No-one carried an epipen. None of their parents had chronic illnesses. It was a rarity if a grandparent had heart issues and carried nitroglycerin pills. I knew one diabetic by the time I was 20. No children were on meds. They didn't suffer from anxiety, none had ADD & ADHD. I don't even think the term "autism" had been invented. And most people didn't even know the names of the companies that made the meds they took when they did get sick. And when that happened, and you got sick and needed meds, they were intended to "make you better", to cure you, to help you overcome the problem and recover from it!
