This is breaking news from the treacherous slopes of Mount Everest. Tragedy has struck once again on the world's tallest peak, claiming the lives of multiple climbers in a series of devastating incidents.
In the latest developments, we've learned that Joshua Cheruiyot Kirui, a Kenyan climber, and his guide Nawang Sherpa have tragically perished during their ascent. Kirui, who aimed to become the first African to conquer Everest without supplemental oxygen, met his fate just below the summit.
But the sorrow doesn't end there. Nepali climber Binod Babu Bastakoti also lost his life during the descent from the peak. His body was discovered near Camp IV at a chilling altitude of 26,000 feet.
And let's not forget the two climbers still missing: Daniel Paul Paterson and Pas Tenji Sherpa. Their whereabouts remain unknown as search efforts continue amidst the unforgiving conditions of the mountain.
