When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

The Church of God has been divided over the abomination that makes desolate and what the 'holy place' is. The opinions and interpretations have been based on events and circumstances of centuries past which in the light of modern or current events, are out of place.
